Shinkirou V7.0 features Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier! As usual, I'm super happy I pulled this off because I was hoping to get a layout of Ranka working, I absolutely adore her! Her clothing also made for a fun, summery color palette, so it's a pretty big change from the last two more neutral designs. :) She didn't put up too much of a fight like my last layout did (although I did go through quite a few iterations), so I guess I'm losing less hairs this time around.
To be honest, I'm pretty late to the Macross Frontier train, but I'm kind of late to every train so I guess that doesn't really matter. It's also pretty unusual for me to like a character like Ranka, but somehow I feel like I can respect/appreciate her go-getter attitude, haha. The past two layouts here at shinkirou.net have been pretty masculine, or at least serious, so I think it's about time it got a little more sunshiney and friendly-looking. Anyhow, I'm not really saying anything of particular importance here, so I'll let the design speak for itself and just hand over the credits!
